Mellow Homestay - Ella

I had a great time here, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the location was beautiful with easy access to Ella Spice Garden.

It is a great place to stay, spent there 3 great days. The property offers extremely delicious breakfast with curries and toasts, for example.

The host was really helpful and arranged a scooter rental for us. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The location was convenient, within walking distance of the main street and train station.

The bathroom layout was a bit inconvenient, with the shower not separated from the toilet, causing the entire floor to get wet. The shower heater didn't work well and the toilet flush was weak, requiring multiple flushes.

As low-budget travellers, we loved the comfortable beds, cleanliness, and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast at this homestay. The friendly host went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, even taking us to the hospital when I got bitten by a dog during hiking.

We were thrilled when we discovered Mellow Homestay, a peaceful and clean location just a short 10-minute walk from the city center. the kind and welcoming family made us feel right at home, and the owner's breakfasts were absolutely incredible - the tastiest we had in all of Sri Lanka! Throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even helping us resolve a small issue on our last day. We are truly grateful for everything they did for us!

I had the most amazing stay at a homestay in Ella. The owner was friendly and made me feel right at home. The room was sovery comfy and tidy, with a spacious bathroom and a cozy bed. The breakfast they served was delicious and had a wide variety of flavors. I even got to take some leftovers with me for my hike! The host was so thoughtful and kind, always going above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. The views from the homestay were amazing, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The location was perfect, with easy access to popular attractions like Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arch Bridge. I can't recommend this place enough. I had an very nice stay and would definitely come back again.

The room wassuper clean and cozy, with a hot shower and a great view of Ella Rock and Adams Peak. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the center of town but still quiet and peaceful. The host, Suvarna, was lovely and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and help us with anything we needed.

The breakfast at Mellow Homestay was out of this world, with a variety of delicious Sri Lankan dishes. The only thing that could have made it better would be to have a wider selection of tea and some small snacks available throughout the day.
